Job description

Position Summary: CKEPUSA, a division of Arizona Restaurant Supply, Inc., is seeking an experienced food service equipment and supplies Sales Representative for the public sector market to include K - 12 schools, municipalities, universities, etc in the New Mexico / West Texas region. This salesperson will also be responsible for high profile accounts in the private sector such as casinos, healthcare, resorts, etc. The Sales Representative is responsible for developing new territory business, achieving territory goals, and providing excellent customer service in addition to the following:

Essential Job Functions:
  1. Meet territory sales goals using relationship building, cold calls and referrals.
  2. Develop a territory sales plan and strategy to meet objectives.
  3. Present a professional image to the customer.
  4. Provide excellent customer service through responsiveness, quality, and product knowledge.
  5. Participate in training to develop expertise in food service products and services.
  6. Attend conferences and trade shows, as required. Travel may be required.
Competencies:
  1. High School graduate, college degree preferred.
  2. Two to five years of outside sales experience with a proven record of success.
  3. Candidates who are, or were, in the food service business, restaurant or cafeteria operations, or sold restaurant equipment and supplies, will be considered.
  4. Reliable transportation with valid driving license and clean driving record. Ability to be covered by the Company vehicle insurance carrier.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Must be able to work independently in a fast paced and customer demanding environment.
  7. Demonstrated computer skills. Google Chrome and Auto Quotes experience are helpful.
Minimum Job Requirements:

Required Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Well organized, accurate, and attentive to detail. Demonstrated success in developing new customers and territories. Must be able to procure state requirement authorizations for access to school properties (fingerprint clearance).

Position type/expected work hours:

This is an exempt, salaried position with commission. Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8AM - 5PM. This position offers eligibility for health benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, supplemental insurance and 401(k) matching along with paid holidays, vacation, and sick time. This position will require the salesperson to be officed at home. The territory is the State of New Mexico and El Paso, TX.
