We’re hiring a results-driven Outside Sales Representative to expand our footprint in service and maintenance contracts and rental solutions.

This is a high-impact, relationship-based sales role ideal for a technically minded professional who thrives in a fast-paced, solution-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

As our Outside Sales Rep, you’ll play a key role in growing DPG’s recurring revenue through maintenance agreements and rental solutions, while also driving new generator project sales. Key responsibilities include:

  • Prospect and secure new commercial and industrial clients
  • Drive growth in maintenance and service contracts with facility managers, property owners, and contractors
  • Promote and expand our generator rental program for short- and long-term applications
  • Conduct site visits to assess power needs and present tailored solutions
  • Develop proposals for generators, ATS systems, service agreements, and rental deployments
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and meet monthly/quarterly targets
  • Build long-term relationships with decision-makers in construction, healthcare, manufacturing, municipalities, and beyond
  • Work closely with DPG’s internal service and install teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction

What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of successful outside sales experience, ideally in generators, power systems, or electrical equipment
  • Proven ability to sell service contracts and rental solutions
  • Technical knowledge of generator systems and power distribution equipment
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred), MS Office
  • Ability to interpret site layouts, specs, and basic electrical load data (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
Location
  • This is a remote role but requires regular site visits across Central and South Texas. Candidate must be based near New Braunfels, San Antonio, or Austin.
