A leading company in highway safety products is seeking a qualified Outside Sales Representative to manage customer relationships and drive sales in Southeast and Southwest Florida. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, at least 3 years of sales experience, and knowledge of the construction industry. This role involves significant fieldwork and collaboration with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

The company is looking for a qualified, results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join their team.
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing and growing customer relationships, driving sales and rental revenue. This position will focus on a sales territory of Southeast Florida and Southwest Florida. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for established customers, as well as generate new business opportunities through cold calls, trade shows, and in-person meetings. Additionally, you will oversee distribution partnerships, monitor project trends, and collaborate closely with internal teams and distributors to ensure customer satisfaction.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: At least 3 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in customer service and business development.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in the construction industry, specifically in commercial, highway/traffic safety, or equipment rental, is a plus.
Skills:
Strong planning, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Familiarity with reading civil, site, and maintenance of traffic plans; understanding construction schedules is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM platform.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
Ability to multitask and manage a flexible work schedule, including up to 4 days of field work per week.
