Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions in the Greater Augusta area seeks an Outside Sales Representative to cultivate business with independent repair facilities, local fleets, city and government entities, marinas and national accounts. You will travel within the assigned territory and build long-term value-based relationships with customers.

The role requires a hunter mentality, automotive knowledge, and self-motivation.

Qualifications

• Degree or two-plus years of sales experience.
• Hunter mentality with focus to serve customers.
• Automotive knowledge and integrity.
• Willingness to travel with occasional overnights (minimum 4 per month).

Responsibilities

• Call on independent repair facilities, local fleets, city and government entities, marinas and national accounts.
• Develop and implement plans to capitalize on all sales opportunities in the territory.
• Plan and manage accounts to grow the business.
• Prepare needs assessments and sales proposals and presentations.
• Coordinate with inside sales, customer service, production and distribution.
