County Materials Corporation - Outside Sales Representative

County Materials Corporation is a leading manufacturer and trusted industry resource for concrete construction and landscape products. For over 75 years, their products have contributed to building communities across the United States.

We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative for our customer, County Materials, located in Maxwell, IN.

Job Duties:
  • Maintaining effective relationships with current customers to increase sales and revenue
  • Collaborating with local, regional, and national promotional efforts within masonry and paving
  • Identifying and prospecting new customers and documenting activities in CRM
  • Working closely with customers and contractors to develop sales strategies and specifications
  • Analyzing market trends and developing action plans to capitalize on shifts in the market
  • Preparing sales projects and prospecting activity reports for monthly meetings
Work Environment:
  • Office setting and construction sites in various weather conditions
Physical Requirements:
  • Handling samples and products weighing up to 50 lbs.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience, training, and education
  • Experience with Masonry/Hardscape product lines
  • Understanding of ASTM specifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM, and ERP software
  • Effective time management skills
  • High sales aptitude and self-motivation
  • Ability to analyze situations and identify opportunities
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Mathematical proficiency
  • Ability to work independently
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
