Summary/Objective:

Bliss Products & Services is a leading provider of playground and recreation equipment, serving the South and Southeast U.S. Our team works closely with schools, municipalities, parks and recreation departments, and general contractors to design and deliver high-quality outdoor spaces. We are committed to providing top-tier products and outstanding customer service while continuously improving our sales and marketing strategies to drive growth.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to grow our customer base and increase revenue within an assigned territory. This role requires relationship-building skills, sales expertise, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle—from prospecting to closing deals—while ensuring excellent client service and follow-through.

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and develop new business opportunities through professional sales calls, networking, email outreach, and attending trade shows.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, municipalities, general contractors, landscape architects, and other key decision-makers.
  • Consultative Sales: Educate clients on our products, provide recommendations based on their needs, and develop customized solutions for playground and recreation projects.
  • Quoting & Proposal Development: Create accurate quotes and proposals for customers, ensuring competitive and profitable pricing.
  • GC Bid Engagement: Collaborate with thebidteam to track and engage in General Contractor (GC) bids, ensuring proactive follow-up and relationship management.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and update CRM with accurate sales pipeline data, tracking prospects, leads, and sales progress.
  • Follow-Up & Closing: Ensure timely and consistent follow-up with clients, addressing concerns and negotiating to close deals effectively.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide weekly updates on sales activities, performance metrics, and revenue goals.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in construction, playground equipment, outdoor furnishings, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to cultivate long-term partnerships.
  • Experience working with GC bids, RFQs, and contract sales is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently while collaborating with a remote team.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • CRM proficiency (experience with HubSpot/Quickbase or similar).
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory for client meetings, site visits, and trade shows.
