This remote position, based out of Loveland, CO, involves engaging with digital tools, customer integration services, and top-tier products to exceed customer expectations. We have a strong network of leading suppliers to help secure and retain customers.

Position Overview

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for increasing profitable sales through building and maintaining high-quality relationships with new and existing customers. The role involves utilizing digital tools and company products to develop creative solutions, generate sales, and provide exceptional customer service.

Compensation

For Colorado residents, the salary ranges from $100,000 to $150,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The role includes a Sales Development Plan with commission and bonus opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell, promote, and demonstrate products, effectively communicating features and benefits.
  • Grow business by acquiring new customers and selling additional products to existing customers.
  • Collaborate with leadership, team members, and suppliers on sales strategies and market development.
  • Assist customers with product selection and application, leveraging internal and supplier expertise.
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Analyze customer operations to tailor solutions to their needs.
  • Coordinate with customers and team members on quotations and communication throughout the purchasing process.
  • Resolve payment issues collaboratively with management, credit, and customers.
  • Collect and report market intelligence to management.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in company training and seminars.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and expenses.
  • Coordinate product demonstrations and sales calls with vendors.
  • Leverage digital tools and customer solutions to gain a competitive edge.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • At least 3 years of sales or electrical industry experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Positive, customer-focused attitude and sensitivity to customer needs.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Product and application knowledge.
  • Self-motivated and familiar with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and CRM tools.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands

Employees may be exposed to high noise levels, heat, cold, electrical hazards, and potentially dangerous equipment, with travel to offsite locations being frequent. Physical demands include sitting, walking, using hands, crouching, climbing, and communicating effectively.
