Job description

We are seeking a career oriented, self-starting professional for a Commercial Outside Sales Representative position. As a sales rep, you will be selling commercial roofing systems and repair services to a variety of existing and potential clients throughout Lakeland, FL and surrounding areas. Our ideal candidate will possess commercial sales experience (at least 3 to 5 years).

Responsibilities

• You will be implementing sales strategies to maximize the Company’s sales.
• Demonstrated influencing and selling skills.
• Strong follow up and relationship building ability.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Previous commercial roofing experience in the field is highly desirable.
• General computer knowledge with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
• Ability to communicate professionally in writing, including proper email etiquette when interacting with clients and internal teams.
• Efficiently utilize the company CRM system as a tool to manage leads, track client interactions, and build a sustainable book of business.
• Proactively generate new business opportunities through door knocking, cold calling, and other outreach efforts to identify and engage potential clients.
• Ability to work well in a professional office setting as well as visiting contractors on jobsites.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent presentation, written and verbal skills, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to sell at the executive level, build a sales organization, and manage to a budget.
• Must be able to assist customers in inspecting, measuring, and estimating roof projects.
• Must be able to climb ladders to access roofs.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record necessary.
• Successfully passing a background check, drug screen and motor vehicle records check is required.
• Limited travel may be required.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
