Job summary

Sysco Philadelphia, LLC is seeking an experienced Sales Representative for the Mercer County, NJ area. This outside sales role focuses on building new business, developing relationships with accounts, and meeting sales goals.

The position offers a competitive base salary, bonus opportunities, and promotional incentives. A car allowance and cell phone are provided, along with ongoing sales training and career pathing within Sysco’s sales team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, sales, or related field.
• 3 years of restaurant management, B2B, or outside sales experience if no degree.
• Bi-lingual preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth and objectives.
• Seek and qualify prospects following company account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and develop a mix of products and services to meet them.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products based on business needs and goals.
• Provide product information and training to customers.
• Drive to customer accounts and events; meet customers’ needs during non-traditional hours.
• Collect balances due with credit; support accounts receivable processes.
• Manage deliveries to the routing schedule; troubleshoot stock issues.
• Attend sales and district meetings; participate in training and onboarding of new staff.
• Review daily/weekly reports and prepare sales budgets, quotes, and filings.
