Job summary

The position demands CAD/drafting familiarity, SAP experience, and strong math skills to price and plan parts, while collaborating with internal and external partners to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.
• 1–3 years of sales experience in the metal industry.
• Print reading required; CAD or drafting experience a plus.
• Experience with SAP is highly preferred.
• MS Office software skills required, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Working knowledge of geometry, strong math skills, and a technical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and qualify customer-provided documents such as prints, CAD files, and specifications.
• Fully understand tolerances, materials, specifications, and processing options for a robust metal supply chain.
• Manage part-specific supply chains using internal and external processing assets to meet quality and delivery requirements.
• Estimate material, labor, and delivery options on a part-level basis and develop contract pricing templates.
• Evaluate sales proposals to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with quality standards.
• Conduct technical analyses of product configurations to determine customer-specific prices.
• All other duties as assigned.
