Job summary

Turtle is seeking an Outside Sales Associate to grow accounts and pursue new business opportunities. You will sell, market, and demonstrate products while building strong customer relationships across a defined territory.

The role includes travel, uncapped commission, and a strong focus on leadership in a fast-paced electrical distribution environment. Compensation reflects performance and market demands, with comprehensive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Industrial and/or Commercial experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive decisions with influence.
• Lighting and Gear product and application knowledge preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with at least one sales area: Industrial, OEM, Automation, Lighting, Power Distribution, Commodities, Energy.

Responsibilities

• Selling, marketing, promoting, and demonstrating products.
• Increasing business by generating sales to new customers and by selling additional products to existing customers.
• Pursuing product applications by utilizing personal knowledge, internal specialist/resources, vendor representatives and other available sources.
• Establishing and maintaining customer relationships.
• Learning and evaluating customer operations to aid in identifying customer objectives, requirements, and preferences.
• Processing product quotations in conjunction with inside sales counterparts and provide continuous follow up throughout the completion of the customer's purchasing cycle.
• This position will require travel within an assigned territory. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have a current driver's license and good driving record.

About the Role

The Outside Sales Associate will exhibit a positive, friendly and helpful attitude with customers, have the ability to manage and grow existing accounts, and pursue new business accounts.

Pay

Pay: $120,000-150,000/uncapped commission
