Turtle is actively seeking an experienced Outside Sales Associate to join our team in Upstate, NY. You will drive growth by selling, promoting, and demonstrating electrical distribution products to new and existing customers, while traveling within the territory.

You will establish relationships, learn customer operations, and coordinate quotations with Inside Sales to support the purchasing cycle. A strong track record in industrial sales and solid communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Industrial and/or Commercial experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Lighting and Gear product knowledge preferred.
• Experience in at least one sales area: Industrial, OEM, Automation, Lighting, Power Distribution, Commodities, Energy.

• Processing product quotations in conjunction with inside sales counterparts and provide continuous follow up throughout the completion of the customer’s purchasing cycle.
• This position will require travel within an assigned territory. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have a current driver's license and good driving record.

About the Role

The Outside Sales Associate will exhibit a positive, friendly and helpful attitude with customers, have the ability to manage and grow existing accounts, and pursue new business accounts.

Pay:

$120,000-150,000/uncapped commission

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring
