Job Summary

Drive profitable sales growth by prospecting new accounts, retaining existing accounts, and expanding opportunities with current customers in core and emerging industries and markets to meet yearly sales goals. This position requires operation of a Company Vehicle or a Personal Vehicle, with operation happening more than 20% of the work week. An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report is a requirement for this position.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and maintain strong sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers across all levels of an organization, ensuring long-term sustainability.
  • Manage sales volume with existing customers and actively prospect and acquire new customers to diversify the customer base.
  • Develop and implement plans to expand business presence in the assigned area.
  • Share market insights and competitor information within the organization to foster strong relationships and collaborative partnerships.
  • Collaborate with leadership to analyze market trends and customer needs, providing input for effective sales strategies.
  • Attend monthly business meetings, participate in local trade shows, and represent the organization in regional or national activities as needed.
Nature and Scope
  • Demonstrate skill in data analysis by resolving missing/incomplete information and anomalies in complex research/data.
  • Work independently, with guidance only on unusual or complex issues. Periodic review of output by supervisors or clients.
  • May provide guidance or training to junior personnel.
Work Environment
  • Comfortable indoor setting; infrequent unpleasant conditions.
  • Mostly sitting with opportunities to move; occasional lifting of light articles.
  • Overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Education and Experience
  • Typically a BS/BA in a related discipline with 2-5 years of experience, or an MS/MA with 2-4 years of experience. Certification may be required in some areas.
Additional Information

Pay Range: $58,900 - $85,500 annually.
