Job Summary

Drive profitable sales growth by prospecting new accounts, retaining existing accounts, and expanding opportunities with current customers in core and emerging industries and markets to meet yearly sales goals. This position requires operation of a Company Vehicle or a Personal Vehicle, with operation occurring more than 20% of the work week. An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report is required, and the company will conduct a review if selected.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain strong sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers at all organizational levels for long-term sustainability.
  • Manage sales volume with existing customers while actively prospecting and acquiring new customers to diversify the customer base.
  • Implement plans to expand business presence in the assigned area.
  • Share market insights and competitor information across relevant channels to foster collaboration and strong relationships.
  • Collaborate with leadership to analyze market trends and customer needs, aiding in the development of sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Attend monthly business meetings, participate in local trade shows, and represent the organization at regional or national activities as needed.

Nature and Scope

  • Demonstrate data analysis skills by resolving incomplete or inconsistent information in complex research/data.
  • Work independently with guidance only on unusual or complex issues; periodic review of output by supervisors or clients.
  • May guide or train junior personnel or support staff.

Work Environment

  • Work primarily in a comfortable indoor setting with infrequent unpleasant conditions.
  • Spend most of the time sitting with opportunities to move; occasional lifting of light items may be required.
  • Overnight travel is typically less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires a BS/BA in a related discipline with 2-5 years of experience, or an MS/MA with 2-4 years of experience. Certification may be required in some areas.

Pay Range

$58,900.00 - $85,500.00 annually
