Job Summary

Drive profitable sales growth by prospecting new accounts, retaining existing accounts, and expanding opportunities with current customers in core and emerging industries and markets to meet yearly sales goals. This position requires operation of a Company Vehicle or a Personal Vehicle, with operation occurring more than 20% of the work week. A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check will be conducted, and an acceptable report is required.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain strong sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers across all organizational levels to ensure long-term sustainability.
  • Manage sales volume with existing customers while actively prospecting and acquiring new customers to diversify the client base.
  • Develop and execute plans to expand business presence in the assigned area.
  • Share market insights and competitor information within the organization to foster collaboration.
  • Collaborate with leadership to analyze market trends and customer needs, informing sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Participate in monthly business meetings, engage in local trade shows, and represent the organization in regional or national activities as needed.

Nature and Scope

  • Demonstrate data analysis skills by resolving incomplete or inconsistent data issues in complex research.
  • Work increasingly independently, with guidance provided only on complex or unusual problems. Work is periodically reviewed by a supervisor or clients.
  • May provide guidance or training to junior support or professional staff.

Work Environment

  • Primarily located in a comfortable indoor setting with infrequent unpleasant conditions.
  • Most work involves sitting with frequent opportunities to move; occasional lifting of light items may be required.
  • Overnight travel is typically less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires a BS/BA in a related discipline with 2-5 years of experience, or an MS/MA with 2-4 years of experience. Certification may be required in certain areas.

Pay Range

$58,900.00 - $85,500.00 annually
