Job summary

Roto-Rooter is seeking a motivated Excavation Sales Representative to generate sales for excavation and trenchless pipe replacement services in Champaign, IL. You will build relationships with homeowners and businesses, diagnose needs, and guide customers through the service process.

Local travel is required with no long sales cycles. A base salary plus uncapped commissions is offered, along with paid time off, holiday pay, ongoing training, and a company vehicle with a fuel allowance.

Qualifications

Job Description

Roto-Rooter is seeking a motivated and driven Excavation Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in generating sales opportunities for excavation and trenchless pipe replacement services. You will be responsible for developing customer relationships, diagnosing customer needs, and providing expert consultation to guide them through the excavation service process.

Local Travel and no long sales cycles! We get the call, you get to answer it.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home consultations and assessments to determine the best excavation solutions for customers
• Present excavation options and offer tailored solutions to meet customers' needs
• Close sales effectively by building trust, communicating clearly, and addressing customer concerns

• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales and project lifecycle
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, follow-ups, and customer interactions in the CRM system

Requirements

• Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in a service-related industry (plumbing, construction, home improvement, etc.)

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of plumbing or excavation services is a plus but not required ; we offer extensive training
• Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
