Job summary

Insight Global in Mesa, AZ seeks a Telecommunications Fiber OSP Engineer to support the design, engineering, construction, and maintenance of outside plant fiber facilities. You will work closely with engineering firms, construction teams, splicing crews, municipalities, and contractors to ensure high-quality network deployment and successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of telecommunications, fiber optics, utilities, or related OSP experience.
• Understanding of fiber network design, construction, and deployment practices.
• Ability to read and interpret utility, engineering, and fiber network maps.
• Knowledge of fiber color codes and splicing fundamentals.
• Experience working with contractors, engineering vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard computer applications.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass required screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with plant maintenance, repairs, relocations, and network upgrades.
• Conduct inventory audits and support ongoing asset management initiatives.
• Participate in project meetings and provide engineering updates to stakeholders.
