Job summary

Rochester Motor Cars is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow OEM parts revenue within an assigned territory. You will build strong, long-term relationships with repair and body shops, acting as a trusted advisor and first-choice supplier, while promoting the value of Rochester Motor Cars’ OEM parts against competitors.

You will follow a daily itinerary, visit customers, and submit a short end-of-day email report detailing account status and follow-up needs to management.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of automotive parts, collision repair, or motor vehicle industry experience.
• 1+ year of inside or outside sales experience with proven quota attainment.
• Ability to travel throughout assigned territory.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain a clear driving record.

Responsibilities

• Regularly visits assigned customers and prospect for new customers.
• Develops long-term relationships with repair shops and body shops as trusted advisor.
• Understands competitor offerings and differentiates OEM parts value.
• Meets or exceeds monthly sales goals and territory growth expectations.
• Promotes parts and accessories to wholesale customers and follows up on orders.
• Submits daily itinerary reports detailing each stop and follow-up items.
• Handles paperwork for warranty claims and pricing approvals as needed.
• Maintains accurate call logs and customer records.
