Job summary

INEOS Acetyls Texas City is seeking Outside Operators to monitor and operate plant process equipment in a union environment. The role requires safety compliance, troubleshooting, and reliable operation of units with cross-training in PZ, Acetic Acid, Utilities and Support Areas.

Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, TWIC, a valid driver's license, and ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts; prior INEOS experience or manufacturing operator background is preferred.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• External: 3+ years Manufacturing Operator experience; 4+ years military experience in a technical role are acceptable.
• Must possess or obtain a TWIC card prior to first day of employment.
• Must possess a current, valid driver's license to operate in the United States.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without visa sponsorship.
• Ability to read and understand instruments and gauges; good troubleshooting skills.
• Comfort with reading/process knowledge of unit changes to enable effective operation.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate plant process equipment to maximize unit reliability and product quality.
• Document operating parameters and communicate with team members.
• Perform minor maintenance and support safe work practices.
• Follow safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in process safety improvements and training of new employees.
