Job summary

INEOS Acetyls in Texas City, TX seeks an experienced PZ Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations, maintenance, and a team of Shift Team Leads and coordinators. You will ensure safe, environmentally responsible, and efficient plant performance while coordinating with management, operations, and maintenance on asset health, process upsets, and continuous improvement.

The role requires 10+ years in plant operations, 5+ years in a supervisory capacity, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of plant operations experience including process troubleshooting.
• 5+ years Console Operator experience.
• TWIC card required or obtainable prior to start.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Process Technology (P-Tech) degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and maintenance to meet safety, environmental, and production goals.
• Coordinate between operations, maintenance and engineering with regular reporting.
• Lead and develop a team including shift leads and coordinators.
• Ensure compliance with SHE and process safety standards across the asset.
• Manage budget, resources, and work notifications to optimize performance.
• Participate in safety reviews, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Communicate schedules, priorities, and changes to all stakeholders.
