Job summary

Telhio Credit Union, based in Ohio, seeks an Outside Mortgage Loan Originator in Toledo to drive first mortgage applications from internal and external leads and expand the credit union’s visibility in local business communities. You will network with Realtors, builders, branches, and investment professionals to generate consistent loan production.

Responsibilities include meeting production goals, advising on loan products, managing the full origination cycle, and staying compliant with banking

Qualifications

• NMLS license required upon hire.
• HS diploma or GED required; bachelor’s preferred.
• 1–3 years mortgage sales origination experience.

Responsibilities

• Originate first mortgage loan applications from internal and external sources.
• Evaluate ratios and recommend the best product for the member.
• Communicate with all parties through the loan process from origination to closing.
• Meet monthly and quarterly production goals.
• Cultivate internal and external referral relationships to generate leads.
