Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking an Outside Machinist to install, align, and repair ship machinery including propulsion and auxiliary systems, pumps, and ventilation equipment. The role relies on blueprint interpretation and hands‑on fabrication and testing in marine environments.

Candidates should understand marine construction from design through installation and testing, and be familiar with applicable commercial and military specifications and standards. Welding knowledge is a plus.

Job description

Outside Machinist. Installs, aligns, and repairs ship machinery such as propelling machinery, auxiliary motors, pumps, ventilating equipment, steering gear, laundry and galley equipment. Working from blueprints and using hand tools, calipers, heavy jacks, chain falls and micrometers.
