Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Harvey, LA seeks an experienced shipyard machinist to mount and connect engines, motors, pumps, steering gears and ventilation systems, and to prepare bulkhead openings for shafts and piping.

You will read technical drawings and specs, use micrometers, calipers and gauges, and perform inspections and tests during dock and sea trials, fabricating replacement parts with lathes and mills as required.
