Responsibilities

• Install propulsion machinery, sea valves, and steering gear.
• Set up and operate machine tools, fit and assemble parts.
• Maintain and lubricate machines and handle heavy equipment.

Skills

Proficient in precision alignment of rotating machinery

Ability to read blueprints and schematics

Knowledge of safety rules and standards

Education

High school diploma or GED

3+ years of experience in machine shop

Computer Numerical Control (CNC) experience
