Rush Truck Insurance Services in Illinois is seeking an Outside Insurance Sales Representative. This entry-level role solicits insurance business from accounts through personal and phone contacts, identifying coverage needs and preparing price quotations.

You will complete contract documents, service existing accounts, maintain databases, and coordinate with underwriters and truck sales staff. A high school diploma and insurance licensing are required, with 1 year of sales or customer service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Insurance license to sell PD, credit life and other products required.

Responsibilities

• Solicit insurance business from accounts through personal and phone contacts.
• Identify coverage needs and prepare price quotations for new and renewal customers.
• Complete contract documents and supporting paperwork to finalize insurance policies.
• Service existing accounts and communicate with clients on a regular basis.
• Maintain client and prospect databases.
• Serve as a public relations liaison for the agency.
• Develop and maintain relationships with underwriters in the lines of business we offer to our clients.
• Coordinate insurance needs with truck sales staff.
