Job summary

Pomp's Tire Service in Wisconsin is hiring a Roadside Commercial Tire Technician to keep commercial vehicles rolling safely. The role involves tire mounting, inspection, and on-the-road service in an outdoor environment.

You will work on-site, handle tires for commercial trucks, and may include overtime and night shifts with opportunities for skill development and advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment screening.
• Willingness to work night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours.
• Preferred experience with commercial vehicles and general mechanical skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 150 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside service calls to change and replace tires on commercial vehicles.
• Mount/dismount tires and replacements efficiently on the road.
• Inspect tires and vehicles to identify additional issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and tools/equipment.
• Work independently in all weather conditions to provide reliable roadside tire service.
• Complete additional tasks to support team operations.

What You'll Do:
