Job summary

USI Insurance Services in Maine seeks an Outside Commercial Lines sales professional to drive new business and retention for small business clients with annual sales under $10mm.

You will build a pipeline, cross-sell across units, and meet an annualized new business goal of $80k while leveraging USI resources for research and messaging. A P&C license and 2+ years of insurance brokerage sales help you succeed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience in an insurance brokerage.
• Property & Casualty license required.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and manage a prospect pipeline and cross-sell.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annualized new business sales goal of $80k for sub-$10mm clients.
• Meet activity and appointment goals and develop customized messaging for prospects.
• Develop sales plans and effective prospecting strategies.
• Input information to CRM and participate in training and programs.
• Cross-sell opportunities to enhance client relationships and revenue.
• Represent USI at meetings, conferences and networking events.
