Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking a full-time Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for their Outreach Program in Providence, Rhode Island. Ideal candidates will work with students in mainstream public schools, providing necessary academic support and modifying curriculum as needed.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree, RI Teaching Certification, and skills in communication and organization. ASL proficiency is a plus, and a background in special education is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Teacher of the Deaf and/or Hard of Hearing RI Certification.
• ASL proficiency preferred but not required.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities
