Job summary

The University of Missouri is seeking a Mobile Simulation Program Specialist to develop and lead Mobile Simulation Services that bring state-of-the-art medical training directly to communities, schools, and organizations across Missouri.

You will design innovative simulation programs, build partnerships with healthcare professionals and educators, and lead marketing efforts while managing equipment usage and data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience must be acquired for comparable knowledge and skills.
  • Credentials include EMT‑B, EMT‑P, RN, LPN, MSN, PA, and NP.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Mobile Simulation Services using simulation tech (screen-based, full-body simulators, VR).
  • Build relationships with healthcare professionals, educators, and community leaders to promote programs.
  • Lead marketing efforts and manage participant data, scenarios, and equipment usage.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshoot devices, and perform routine maintenance.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and educators to develop and teach health programs.
  • Travel statewide to engage with diverse communities and bring expertise where needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Mobile Simulation Services that deliver hands‑on, high‑impact training using the latest simulation technology, including screen‑based, full‑body patient simulators, and virtual reality.
  • Build relationships with healthcare professionals, educators, and community leaders to promote and expand our simulation programs.
  • Lead marketing efforts, ensuring our programs reach the widest audience possible while managing participant data, scenarios, and equipment usage.
  • Provide essential technical support, troubleshoot advanced medical devices, and perform routine maintenance to ensure seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals and educators to develop and teach innovative health programs.
  • Explore extensive statewide travel, engaging with different communities and bringing your expertise where it is needed most.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelors preferred or equivalent clinical experience
  • Credentials: EMT‑B, EMT‑P, RN, LPN, MSN, PA, and NP
  • Years of Experience: Three or more
Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 annually

Grade: GGS - 9E

University Title: HLTH EDUCATOR

Shift

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with flexibility when needs arise.
