Job Title Outreach, Recruitment, and Communications Project Navigatorexists to support the successful implementation of SinclairCommunity College's NSF Advanced Technological Education project byincreasing awareness of and participation in the BuildingAutomation Systems ( BAS )-integrated HVAC program. The positionprovides dedicated coordination of student recruitment, communityand K-12 outreach, and project communications to build a strongpipeline of prospective students into BAS / HVAC education andcareer pathways.
The salary for this position begins at $59,661.00 and iscommensurate with education and experience. This position is grantfunded anticipated to continue through September 30 2029, subjectto continued availability of grant funds.

Principal Accountabilities
Student Recruitment and Outreach
- Develop and coordinate recruitment and outreach activities thatincrease awareness of Sinclair's HVAC and Building AutomationSystems ( BAS ) educational pathways and generate interest amongprospective students
Prospective Student Engagement and Follow-Up
- Serve as a point of contact for prospective students; provideprogram and career pathway information; coordinate follow-upactivities that support students from initial interest throughapplication and enrollment
Project Communications and Marketing
- Coordinate development and distribution of print, digital, web,and social media communications that promote the BAS / HVACprogram, NSF project activities, educational opportunities, andrelated career pathways
K-12, Community, and Partner Engagement
- Develop and maintain relationships with high schools, careertechnical education programs, community organizations, employers,and other partners to expand awareness of BAS / HVAC education andcareer opportunities
Recruitment Events, Lab Tours, and Industry Showcases
- Plan, coordinate, and support campus visits, BAS / HVAC labtours, recruitment events, career events, and industry showcaseactivities for prospective students, families, educators, andcommunity partners
Tracking, Assessment, and Project Support
- Maintain outreach and recruitment records, track participationand engagement, contribute information needed for NSF projectreporting and evaluation, and use results to improve recruitmentand communication activities
Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience required, with experience in higher education, community college recruitment, workforce development, ortechnical education preferred
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining relationshipswith K-12/ CTE schools, students, families, educators, communitypartners, and other stakeholders preferred
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectivelycommunicate with diverse audiences required
- Experience with marketing, digital communications, socialmedia, outreach, and/or recruitment strategies preferred
- Strong organizational, project management, and eventcoordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesand work independently or collaboratively required
- Familiarity with workforce development, technical education, HVAC, Building Automation Systems ( BAS ), skilled trades, or othertechnical career pathways preferred
- Ability to quickly learn and effectively communicate technicaleducation programs, career pathways, and opportunities to students,families, educators, and community partners required
- Ability to travel locally and occasionally work evenings orweekends to support recruitment, school, community, and industryevents
