Job summary

The Arc of Washington County is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Outreach Personal Supports program in Hagerstown, MD. This role blends Direct Support Professional duties with administrative and scheduling tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

One day per week is office-based for scheduling and coordination; remaining hours focus on 1:1, person-centered support in homes and communities to promote independence and meaningful engagement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience providing direct support preferred.
• Scheduling experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid U.S. driver's license with at least two years driving experience and clean record.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain weekly schedules for people supported in the Outreach Personal Supports program.
• Coordinate community activities and plan PCP goals.
• Review staffing availability and communicate unresolved concerns to the program supervisor.
• Provide 1:1 direct, person-centered support in homes and communities.
• Support individuals in pursuing personal interests and community participation.
