Job summary

The Arc of Washington County is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Outreach Personal Supports program in Hagerstown, MD. This role combines hands-on Direct Support Professional duties with administrative scheduling and coordination responsibilities to support daily operations.

One day per week (Wednesday) is dedicated to office-based duties, including scheduling, PCP alignment, and activity planning, while remaining hours focus on 1:1, person-centered support in homes and communities to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Experience providing direct support to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred.
• Scheduling experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license with at least two years of driving experience and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain weekly schedules for people supported in the Outreach Personal Supports program, reflecting individual preferences and PCP goals.
• Ensure services stay within each individual’s authorized service hours.
• Review staffing availability and communicate concerns to the program supervisor.
• Plan and coordinate meaningful community activities to promote independence and engagement.
• Provide direct, person-centered support in homes and communities as needed.
