Job summary

BayCare Health System in New Port Richey seeks an Outreach Prevention Facilitator to promote health and safety initiatives within our community. This role involves delivering presentations, sharing resources, and data-driven outreach to schools and partner agencies.

The position requires extensive travel, a Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field, and BLS and a valid driver's license; 1 year of substance abuse or behavioral health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Driver's License required.
• 1 year of substance abuse or behavioral health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote and implement effective health and safety initiatives for the community.
• Facilitate presentations, provide public resources, and conduct data-driven outreach.
• Develop, implement, and manage evidenced-based prevention programs (alcohol, tobacco, drugs).
• Serve as a resource to parents, school staff, district sites, and community agencies.
• Extensive travel is required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

The Outreach Prevention Facilitator Is Responsible For

• Plays a crucial role in promoting and implementing effective health and safety initiatives for our community.
• Uses a variety of methods to create effective campaigns, such as facilitating presentations, providing resources to the public, and conducting data-driven research.
• Responsible to develop, implement, and manage evidenced-based programs that effectively prevent alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use.
• Serves as a resource to parents and district, school sites, and community agency staff related to county prevention intervention resources.
• Extensive travel is required
• Will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
