Job summary

Lubbock County is seeking a detail-oriented outreach coordinator to expand ADR services and programs with USDA-supported groups. You will develop outreach activities, prepare presentations, and manage data for reporting.

Expect substantial travel within Texas to meet with stakeholders and deliver training and information sessions. Qualifications include a college degree or equivalent, mediation training (or ability to complete Basic Mediation Training), and strong written/spoken communications.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Must be trained mediator or complete Basic Mediation Training as available within Department.
• Excellent communication, organization, and ability to interact with the public.
• Texas driver’s license and auto insurance or reliable alternate transportation.

Responsibilities

• Develop opportunities for presentations to groups funded or supported by USDA.
• Develop sponsorships and collaborations for outreach activities.
• Make public presentations and provide outreach information.
• Document presentations, meetings, and activities for supervisor.
• Monitor rural Texas environment and gather information from various sources.
• Assist with mediator training and annual continuing education.
• Complete required reports and data inputs for management.
