Qualifications

Job Overview

The University of Arizona, Yuma County Cooperative Extension is looking for two part‑time Outreach Instructional Assistant III. The ideal candidates will carry out teaching youth hands‑on, experiential learning in agriculture in a school enrichment program. The primary focus is to work with county‑wide schools, stakeholders and collaborators to build a strong Agriculture in the Classroom program in Yuma County.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Organizes, promotes, coordinates and conducts Agriculture in the Classroom youth program.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Obtain a driver’s license, provide own transportation, be able to travel statewide using all modes of transportation and have the ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy.
