Job summary

Qualifications

• Higher education student services experience related to the assigned program area (e.g., advising, admissions, residential life, student programming or development)
• Ability to independently prioritize, plan and organize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work with diverse student populations.
• Ability to compile, prepare, write and review reports.
• Proficiency using standard office software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
• Familiarity working with school-based record/data systems/software (e.g., PeopleSoft).
• Ability to travel, stay occasionally overnight, and occasionally work evenings and weekends.
• Commitment to maintaining a welcoming and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in making progress toward degree objectives and participate in program assessment.
• Provide counseling and outreach coordination within Project Rebound under supervision.
• Prepare documentation and mandatory reporting.
