Job summary

Qualifications

• Higher education student services experience related to the assigned program area.
• Two years of professional experience in a related student services field; master’s degree may substitute for one year.
• Education equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university; substitution rules apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in making progress toward their degree objectives; provide related learning experiences.
• Utilize interviewing and counseling techniques; prepare documentation and program assessment.
• Communicate effectively with diverse student populations and collaborate with staff and volunteers.
