East 91st Street Christian Church is a growing church on the north side of Indianapolis with a desire to help people take their next step with Jesus and live out their faith where they live, work, learn, and play. Outreach at E91 is rooted in relationship rather than simply meeting immediate needs. Through initiatives such as the Good Neighbor Program, CarePortal, Care Communities, school partnerships, local service opportunities, and community partnerships, E91 seeks to come alongside people and organizations already doing good work while equipping the church to use their gifts, experiences, and resources to serve others.
Indianapolis provides a unique setting for this kind of ministry. As a growing metropolitan area with diverse neighborhoods, strong school systems, nonprofit organizations, businesses, and community leaders, the city offers countless opportunities for the local church to build relationships and contribute to the flourishing of its community. E91’s location on the north side of Indianapolis also provides access to both urban and suburban communities, creating opportunities to serve people from a wide variety of backgrounds and circumstances.
The ideal candidate will be someone who genuinely loves people but also loves making things happen. They should be comfortable building relationships with volunteers and community partners while also managing timelines, communications, databases, event logistics, and follow-through. Strong candidates will be proactive, highly organized, collaborative, adaptable, and able to move comfortably between relational ministry and behind‑the‑scenes coordination.
