Job summary

Three Bears Alaska is seeking an Outpost/Sporting Goods Assistant PICs to maintain a safe, clean shopping environment while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include stocking, conducting background checks on gun sales per guidelines, and supervising team members in the absence of the Outpost PIC.

Prior experience in sporting goods and gun-safety compliance is valued. Position can be part-time or full-time, with in-store shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sporting goods, fishing and hunting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, clean shopping experience and exemplary service.
• Stock merchandise and rotate displays to maintain high levels.
• Perform cashier duties, process payments and returns.
• Assist with transfers, packaging orders, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with supervisors on merchandising plan and priorities.
• Perform closing duties and maintain department readiness.
• Operate pallet jack and assist with pallet moves.
• Support other departments as needed.
