Position: Senior Ultrasound Technologist - Outpatient

• Salary Range: $111,377 - $167,066 annually
• Up to $15,000 SOB
• Day shifts

Position Summary

Performs routine and specialized ultrasound procedures under supervision, prepares patients, assists radiologists, manages equipment, and ensures quality standards. Responsible for patient safety, documentation, and communication with physicians.

Essential Functions

• Properly prepares and positions patients, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Produces high-quality images and maintains equipment.
• Assists physicians during procedures.
• Performs quality assurance and manages supplies.
• Participates in emergency procedures and on-call duties, including work at various outpatient sites and holidays.
• Maintains cleanliness and reports equipment issues.
• Processes images and communicates findings to physicians.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Completion of a certified ultrasound program or equivalent certification.
• ARDMS eligibility within 1 year of graduation with clinical hours.
• ARDMS certification required for ACR accreditation; ARRT or RT (VS) accepted.
• Experience preferred; 3-5 years hospital ultrasound experience.
• BLS certification from AHA required or within 90 days of hire.
