Position: Senior Ultrasound Technologist - Outpatient

• Salary Range: $111,377 - $167,066 annually
• Up to $15,000 SOB

Position Summary

Performs routine and specialized ultrasound procedures under supervision, prepares patients, assists radiologists, maintains equipment, and ensures quality standards are met. Responsible for patient safety, documentation, and communication with physicians.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Prepares and positions patients, documents images accurately.
• Produces high-quality images and assists physicians during procedures.
• Performs equipment quality assurance and maintenance.
• Works in emergency situations and may be on-call at various outpatient sites, including holidays and nights.
• Maintains cleanliness and reports equipment issues.
• Processes images and communicates findings to physicians.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Completion of a certified ultrasound program or equivalent.
• ARDMS eligibility within 1 year of graduation, with 1000 clinical hours.
• ARDMS certification required for accreditation compliance; ARRT or RT (VS) also acceptable.
• Experience in hospital ultrasound preferred.
• BLS certification through AHA required within 90 days of hire.
• 3-5 years of ultrasound experience in a hospital setting preferred.
