Job summary

Vanderbilt Imaging Services in Bellevue is seeking a Sonographer to operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment for obstetric, abdominal, neurosonography, or breast imaging. You will review patient history, prepare equipment, explain procedures, and position patients to obtain optimal views.

You will maintain patient records, ensure safety and infection control, and collaborate with physicians to provide high-quality imaging. RDMS certification and 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RDMS certification or eligible.
• Experience with ultrasound equipment operation and patient positioning.
• Knowledge of safety and infection control in imaging.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and physician instructions.
• Prepares ultrasound equipment and selects appropriate settings.
• Explains procedure to patient and records relevant medical history.
• Operates ultrasound equipment to acquire diagnostic images and records them for physician interpretation.
