Job summary

MercyOne Genesis Eldridge Family Medicine Clinic seeks a part-time Triage Registered Nurse to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, education, and coordination with the care team.

24 hours/week, Wed/Thu/Fri, 8:00a–5:00p, no weekends or holidays. Requires active RN license in Iowa (or eligible), BLS within 3 months, and proficient computer skills.

Qualifications

• RN license active and verified in the state of Iowa and/or eligible-based on location.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (Windows OS, web, MS Office).
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinate care with physicians and clinical staff; educate patients and families.
• Administer medications and document as required.
• Support scheduling, admissions, referrals, and outpatient procedures.
• Maintain EMR documentation accuracy and completeness.
