MercyOne Genesis Eldridge Family Medicine Clinic is hiring a part-time Triage Registered Nurse to provide outpatient triage nursing care with a focus on safe, evidence-based patient care. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, coordinating with clinicians and staff to deliver timely services.

You will educate patients and families, document in the EMR, and participate in quality improvement efforts.

Formación

• Active RN license in Iowa; compact license acceptable where applicable.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in basic computer skills and EMR documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication with patients and teams.

Responsabilidades

• Provide outpatient triage nursing care following assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other clinicians and staff.
• Educate patients and families on treatments, prep, and post-care instructions.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation of assessments, vitals, meds, and care plans.
• Participate in staff meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
• Respond to urgent/emergency patient needs and initiate procedures as needed.
