Job summary

Palo Verde Behavioral Health in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Patient Transporter for Outpatient Services to support our treatment programs. You will drive patients to and from the program safely and punctually, perform basic vehicle maintenance, and assist with patient activities as needed.

This role also supports the clinic with scheduling, chart organization and filing, front desk coverage, patient outreach, and other duties as assigned. Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
• Experience: 3-5 years of driving experience.
• Credentials: Valid AZ driver's license clear of violations within the previous 5 years.
• Additional Requirements: Clean driving record; CPR and Handle with Care training; AZ Class 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from the program safely and punctually.
• Perform basic automotive maintenance: fueling, fluid checks, tire inflation.
• Assist with patient activities between transports.
• Support clinic with patient scheduling, chart organization and filing.
• Provide front desk coverage and patient outreach; other duties as assigned.
