Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• 2+ years of related experience preferred.
• CPR/FA certification – to be obtained within first 30 days.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card – current or submitted within 7 days from date of hire.
• Clean MVR record (3 years) required.
• Background, county/state checks and drug/alcohol testing clearance required.
• TB PPD testing upon hire and annual TB screening.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients to and from appointments according to schedules.
• Assist clients safely entering and exiting vehicles.
• Coordinate with nursing staff when clinical accompaniment is required.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections and complete logs and checklists.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report mechanical issues.
• Follow ARC policies on safety, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.
• Use ARC vehicles only during approved hours; no personal vehicles.
• Disclose citations or incidents to supervisor and HR.
• Document client behavioral concerns and transport changes.
• Maintain timely communication with supervisors and update transport threads.
• Represent ARC professionally in public settings.
