Job summary

Palo Verde Behavioral Health in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Patient Transporter for Outpatient Services to safely shuttle patients to and from programs, while performing basic vehicle maintenance and supporting the clinic with scheduling, charting, and front desk coverage.

The role requires a High School diploma, 3–5 years of driving experience, an AZ driver's license with a clean record, CPR and Handle with Care training, and the ability to obtain an AZ Class 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card;

Qualifications

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
• Experience: Must have 3-5 years of driving experience.
• Credentials: Must have a valid AZ driver's license clear of any violations within the previous 5 years.
• Additional Requirements: Clean driving record from the Department of Public Safety. CPR and Handle with Care training.
• May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours. Must be able to obtain and maintain an AZ Class 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Drives patients to and from the program at our facility, safely and punctually.
• Performs basic automotive maintenance such as fueling, fluids, and tire checks.
