Job summary

Riverside Health in Williamsburg, Virginia is seeking a Rehab Aide to assist licensed therapists in physical, speech, and/or occupational therapy while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized clinic environment. You will support front-end staff and help with supplies and training for new team members.

Responsibilities include patient care activities, equipment prep, inventory management, and answering phones. State-regulated duties and a strong emphasis on teamwork are integral to this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
• 1 year healthcare experience (Preferred).
• CPR/BLS Certification (Preferred).

• Stocks shelves, monitors inventory and orders supplies.
• Assists with new employee, student, and volunteer training.

Williamsburg, Virginia Hiring Range $15.60 - $20.25/Hourly Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.

Overview A Rehab Aide assists the licensed therapist in the provision of physical therapy, speech therapy, and / or occupational therapy treatments in accordance with state practice and professional guidelines. Performs duties to maintain a safe and clean environment including maintaining clean equipment and clinic space, monitoring inventories, ordering supplies and other administrative duties to support the front end staff as needed. The Rehab Aide may work in an inpatient, outpatient and/or skilled nursing/long term care setting. The Rehab Aide is supervised by Rehab Services management and maintains a positive working relationship with other health professionals and ancillary staff.
