Job summary

Augusta Health in Fishersville, VA is seeking a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) or licensed professional counselor (LPC) for a full-time, on-site outpatient counseling role within the Mental Health IOP program.

You will provide individual, family and group therapy, lead group sessions, and participate in weekly IOP team meetings while developing treatment plans and discharge recommendations in collaboration with the treatment team.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia as an LCSW or LPC.
• Master’s degree in a behavioral health-related field.
• At least 2 years of outpatient counseling experience.
• Dual diagnosis and crisis intervention experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family and group counseling sessions.
• Lead a group therapy session and participate in weekly IOP team meetings.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor all clinical activities.
• Make recommendations for ongoing treatment along the continuum of care.
• Develop guidelines for future treatment or discharge from the program.
• Ensure compliance with quality patient care and regulatory requirements.
