Job summary

Old Pueblo Community Services in Tucson, AZ, seeks a Therapist I to provide outpatient therapeutic services. You will work with clients facing homelessness, serious mental illness, and substance use disorders using harm reduction and Housing First principles to help achieve client goals.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Associate Level Professional License (e.g., LMSW, LAC).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word/Outlook/Excel.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Maintain CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Complete behavioral health assessments, screenings, and recovery plans under supervision.
• Deliver individual and group counseling per Recovery Plan.
• Update plans as services are completed or needs change.
• Participate in clinical staffing meetings to maintain care standards.
• Coach colleagues to manage caseloads and improve engagement.
• Engage in clinical supervision with a supervisor.
• Document services in the EHR and maintain confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Maintain client files confidentially per HIPAA.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
